Meet The Staff

Shelli Yoder, M.S., M.Div.
Executive Director

Shelli brings to EDCT more than 15 years of experience in advocacy, education, and fund raising. Before coming to the Coalition, Shelli served as assistant director of GirlForce, a national non-profit organization based at the
Vanderbilt University Medical Center that promotes self-esteem, positive body awareness, and healthy lifestyles for adolescent girls. Shelli is also the former director of Hannah's House, a non-profit residential treatment home for disenfranchised, pregnant teens. A native of Indiana, and also former Miss Indiana and a runner-up to Miss America, Shelli holds a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University, a Master of Science in Education from Indiana University, and a Master of Divinity degree from Vanderbilt University.  Shelli lives in Nashville
with her husband, Josh Perry, their 3-year-old daughter, Ivy, and 21 month ago son, Eden.

Jennifer Katzenmiller
Program Director
Jennifer is originally from Denver, Colorado.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science in Communication.  Jennifer served four years in the United States Navy working in Naval Intelligence.  Before coming to the EDCT, Jennifer served as the part-time program director at Senior Citizens, Inc. where she implemented and promoted activities for a 500+ member senior center. Her programs focused on education, health, physical activities, and recreation.  Prior to her work at Senior Citizens, Inc., she worked as an assistant publicist at Sourcebooks, Inc. where she promoted authors on local and national radio and television media shows such as The View, 48 Hours, Conan O'Brien, and CBS Early Show.  Jennifer resides in Lebanon, Tennessee with her husband, Chris, and their 3 year-old daughter Aubrey and newborn son Trevor.

Brittany MacNealy
Fund Raising and Events Coordinator
Brittany
is originally from Inverness, Mississippi.  She
graduated from Mississippi State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with emphasis in Child Development and Public Relations. While at Mississippi State, Brittany was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority, Human Science Association, MSU Communication Association and served as a Bulldog Belle.  She is also a member of American Association of Family & Consumer Science, Child Life Council and National Eating Disorders Association.  Brittany first came to EDCT for a summer internship in 2006 and was the recipient of the 2006 EDCT Visionary Award. She was also a nanny for the Lindsey family and their 2 children while in college.  Brittany currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
