EDCT-Northeast

EDCT Programs & Events

YES! Team
Since the 2009-10 school year, EDCT-Northeast has implemented EDCT's Youth Education and Support (YES!) Team curriculum in more than 40 schools in the Tri-State area. The 2011-12 YES! Team program in the Northeast has been generously underwritten by a $2,000 grant from HEAL Appalachia.

Speakers Bureau
A Speakers Bureau training session was held for new EDCT members in December  2009.  Currently, EDCT-Northeast has many members who are trained and eager to speak to schools, civic groups, and other organizations. If you are interested in scheduling a presentation for your group or organization, please contact EDCT-Northeast Regional Coordinator Misty Bays.

Clinical Training
EDCT-Northeast offers one advanced clinical training session per year, typically in the fall. For more information, contact Misty Bays.

Expansion
Frontier Health and Mountain States Health Alliance have become Organizational Members of the EDCT and are currently working to bring EDCT programs to the Tri-States area.  These are only the first steps in making a huge difference in the Northeast region of Tennessee.
