Target Audience

The 10th Annual Forum for Professionals is designed for the following disciplines: addiction counselors, dietitians, exercise physiologists, graduate students in applicable fields (master's and doctoral level), licensed professional counselors, mental health providers, pediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, public health officials, school/college counselors and social workers.

The purpose of The Annual Forum for Professionals is twofold: 1) to offer continuing education to professionals in the field and 2) to foster a collaborative networking experience for professionals and/or graduate-level students interested in the treatment of eating disorders and related concerns.

Nearby Lodging in Green Hills

Five minutes from the Lipscomb University campus is the Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville-Green Hills, our preferred lodging partner. The hotel is within walking distance from the upscale Green Hills Mall (Nordstrom opened here in September 2011) and several restaurant options. More dining and shopping opportunities -- including Whole Foods Market, Pei Wei Asian Diner, lululemon and several local boutiques -- are a two-minute drive down Hillsboro Road, at the Hill Center.

An Award-Winning Event...

The Annual Forum for Professionals was recognized in 2006 as a “Salute to Excellence” Award winner by the Center for Nonprofit Management for outstanding nonprofit achievement (award pictured at right).

...Produced by a Unique Organization

Founded in 2002, Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee (EDCT) is the Southeast’s first statewide nonprofit to advance eating disorder awareness, education and prevention. Our mission is to offer hope, help and support to all who are impacted by disordered eating.
