Alyson Knop
In her recovery from anorexia, Alyson Knop was excited and heartened to learn about the EDCT, and she has been an active volunteer with the organization since 2005. She was honored to be the recipient of the 2006 EDCT Volunteer of the Year award. Alyson holds a B.A. in music history and theory from Oberlin College and an M.A. in historical musicology from the University of California, Berkeley, where she served for several years on the editorial board of the professional music journal repercussions. She has also volunteered for the Tennessee Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, the Nashville Adult Literacy Council, and area churches. She lives in Nashville with her husband, Rob, and their three cats.
