Susan Akers is the Middle School Guidance counselor at Franklin Road Academy.  Susan has been involved with EDCT since moving to Nashville from Chicago three years ago. She is currently co-chairing the YES team committee which partners with area schools to educate students regarding Eating Disorders and the resources available to them.  Susan is on the leadership team of the Parents of Teens Sunday School class at Brentwood Methodist Church. She is a partner and co-owner of a design business called Interior Motives.  Susan and her husband, Tim have two daughters.
