Evening of Song & Story
EDCT-Chattanooga held its first-ever Evening of Song & Story fundraiser on Oct. 28, 2010, at the Fairyland Club in Lookout Mountain, Ga. The event featured a compelling testimony from Dick Horton, president of the Tennessee Golf Association and one of the co-founders of EDCT's Families Supporting Families program. Horton's message ("From a Father's Perspective") detailed his journey from frustration to hope as he learned about eating disorders through his daughter's struggle. Singer-songwriters Rachel Stevener and Brent Horan provided the evening's entertainment. The event drew 90 attendees and raised nearly $10,000.
