Annual Forum for Professionals
The Annual Forum for Professionals is an award-winning conference that takes place each fall for professionals in related eating disorders fields. In 2006, EDCT's Annual Fourm was recognized as a "Salute to Excellence" award winner by the Center for Nonprofit Management for outstanding nonprofit achievement.
The purpose of the Annual Forum is twofold: 1) to offer continuing education to professionals in the field and 2) to foster a collaborative networking experience for professionals and/or graduate-level students interested in the treatment of eating disorders and related conditions.
This year, we will be offering two tracks of breakout sessions: beginner/intermediate and intermediate/advanced. The beginner/intermediate track is ideal for graduate students or individuals who are new to the field of eating disorders. The intermediate/advanced track is designed for professionals who have moderate to significant experience in the treatment of eating disorders.
The 12th Annual Forum for Professionals will take place at the Millenium Maxwell House Hotel in Nashville, TN. The hotel's address is 2025 Rosa L. Parks Boulevard, Nashville, TN 37228.
The 12th Annual Forum for Professionals is designed for professional audiences only. This includes, but is not limited to the following: addiction counselors, dietitians, exercise physiologists, graduate students in applicable fields (master's and doctoral level), licensed professional counselors, mental health providers, pediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, public health officials, school/college counselors and social workers.
