Mascara-thon Benefits EDCT from April 30-May 4
Knoxville, Tenn. -- Do you wear black or black-brown mascara? EDCT-Knoxville volunteer Renee Taylor-Sapp wants to know. It's all part of "Mascara with a Mission," an initiative she launched to benefit Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee (EDCT).
Renee will donate the proceeds of every mascara purchased through her Mary Kay Beauty Consultant website from April 30-May 4, 2012. "EDCT has a mission that is close to my heart, and the women of this organization do incredible work," says Renee. "I am very excited to have the opportunity to give back to this great cause."
According to the Mary Kay website, the Ultimate Mascara is their top-selling, lash-defining wand, but they also market three additional brands: Lash Love, Lash Lengthening and Waterproof. Prices run from $10-$15.
Renee's goal is to sell 150 mascaras this week, which would result in about $1,000 for EDCT.
"If you are going to wear mascara," she poses, "why not wear one with a mission?"
